This is a new erection of a semi-detached house consisting of 2 storeys with an attic floor. For this retiring couple, this home is the culmination of a lifetime spent in the construction industry. Having built for others for decades, they envisioned this semi-detached house as their ultimate “dream home”—a space defined by grandness, longevity, and deep personal meaning. The layout is meticulously tailored to their passions, featuring dedicated zones for yoga, painting, and study, as well as a stunning tea appreciation corner designed as a modern glasshouse that brings an elegant, English-inspired charm to their daily rituals.
Achieving a “timeless” look meant balancing bold architecture with absolute privacy. To address both URA requirements and the owners’ desire for a secluded sanctuary, we designed a double-screen façade. This layer not only provided high privacy, but also gave the building a “handsome”, structured silhouette. Designed to age gracefully, this residence was built to remain stylish and functional for the next 30 years and beyond.
